PUERTO MADRYN: WHALE WATCHING AND PENGUINS IN SAN LORENZO
Sighting of southern right whales is a unique and magical spectacle that turns the city of Puerto Madryn in the most important and visited tourist point on the Patagonian shore.
With their tails upright, whales jump over the water announcing their longed-for presence between June and early December. Thousands of tourists from all over the world arrive to witness this marvellous exhibition of nature that arouses great emotions.
The Patagonian coastline also offers tourists the continental colony of Magellanic penguins in estancia San Lorenzo. Thousands of these wonderful creatures live here between September to April building their nests, mating and incubating their eggs waiting for them to hatch late November.
